Human!Lady was walking her dog through the park, and at the same time human!Tramp was there with his dog, so of course they had to do the thing

Tramp is his street name, everybody calls him that. He's got a lot of friends, like the guys from the Italian restaurant, because he's a nice guy and everybody loves his dog, so he's skinny and dirty, but people share their meals with him and give him odd jobs to do or a place to sleep for the night, so he's not properly homeless

This is a humanised version of how they met. Obviously the movie takes place over a longer period of time in this version
